MEET OUR FOUNDER AND BOARD OF ADVISORS
Emmanuel Dusabimana, the founder and president of Kingdom Builders, rose from one of Rwanda’s darkest times—the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, which led to the tragic loss of nearly a million lives in just 100 days. Growing up amidst this national sorrow, Emmanuel grappled with profound uncertainty, trauma, and an all-encompassing fear of what lay ahead. However, everything shifted the day his mother took him to church. Enveloped in worship and a message of forgiveness, he encountered the love of Jesus for the very first time. That pivotal moment ignited a transformation that would last a lifetime.
Emmanuel subsequently became a worship pastor, a living testament to God’s redemptive power. He often declares, “If Jesus can transform me, He can transform you too.”
In 2020, amid the pandemic, Emmanuel and his wife Lauren—raising their four sons in the U.S.—were inundated with cries for help from Rwanda. In their response to these urgent needs, a deeper vision emerged: to tackle the roots of poverty by empowering youth with spiritual resilience and practical skills.
This vision manifested as Kingdom Builders Rwanda.
